Paraguay

When to go

The climate is sub-tropical, with a marked difference between summer and winter and often from one day to the next. December to February (summer) can be very hot and humid, with temperatures from 25° to 43°C. From March to May (autumn) and September to November (spring) the heat is less oppressive, a good time for travelling. During winter (June-August) the temperature can range from 0°C at night to 28°C in the day. Temperatures below freezing are very rare, and it never snows. Some rain falls each month. The heaviest rains are from October to April.
