Visiting Galápagos

Most visitors to the islands book all-inclusive cruises or land-based tours and do not need to make any additional arrangements. Their only challenge is selecting a boat or agency.

Some travellers may wish to extend their stay on the islands, either before or after their tour, and a very few others are interested in independent travel on one of the four populated islands, the only places where such travel is permitted.
