Planning
Cuba,
the largest island in the Caribbean, is nearly as big as England. If
your time is restricted you should decide which end of the island you
would prefer to see in detail. If you have got all the time in the
world, then start at one end and work your way to the other. An
excellent road runs all the way from Havana to Santiago down the centre
of the island, passing through many of the important cities, with side
roads off to other interesting places.
Use our selection of itineraries as a guideline for what is possible
within different time frames, and have a look at our sections on when
and where to go.
