The red brick buildings of the frigoríficocan still be seen in town. At the end of the costanerais the Paseo La Olla, with beautiful views over the river.

La Paz

La Paz is a small port in an area popular for fishing, where the fishing festivals Fiesta Provincial del Surubíand the Fiesta Provincial del Doradoare held respectively every April and September. The undulating terrain and the cliffs above the river make a picturesque setting for the old houses still standing in the town.

There is a Museo Regional, a small history museum at the Parque Berón de Astrada, from where there are fine views, while another park, the Parque de la Aventura, has trails along the riverside for walking or cycling.
