Tourist information
There are tourist information offices in all
provincial capitals, in major tourist destinations
and many bus terminals/airports in popular destinations. Infrastructure varies across the country, but they can usually give you a town map and sometimes a list of accommodation, as well as the tours, sights and festivals in the
area. Staff in more popular tourist areas usually
speak at least some English (and sometimes French, German, Italian) and are usually helpful. Opening hours are long - typically 0800-2000 in summer but may close at weekends. All bus terminals have an office (often signed

Loads of information on Argentina is now
available on the internet, much of it reasonably
up-to-date and in English. Most provinces in Argentina have their own website and it's useful to have a look before you come for inspiration and information. Each province has a tourist office,
