US$28 to be paid on all international flights, except to Montevideo from Aeroparque Airport, which is subject to US$14 tax. Airport tax can be prepaid, and you should check if it's included in your ticket when you book. Internal flights are subject to US$12, included in your ticket everywhere but the airport at El Calafate, where you must pay in pesos. When in transit from 1 international flight to another, you may be obliged to pass through immigration and customs, have your passport stamped and be made to pay an airport tax on departure. There is a 5% tax on the purchase of air tickets.
