Banks, government offices and businesses are usually open Mon-Fri 0800-1300 in summer, and Mon-Fri 1000-1500 in winter. Some businesses open again in the evening, 1700-2000.
Cafés and restaurants
: cafés are busy from 2400. Restaurants are open for lunch 1230-1500, dinner 2100-2400.
Nightclubs
: open at 2400, but usually only get busy around 0200.
Post offices
: often open

- don't close for lunch or siesta.
Shops
: in Buenos Aires most are open 0900-1800. Elsewhere, everything closes for siesta 1300-1700.
