For those on a tight budget, you can also reach Tigre by taking the TBA train all the way from Retiro for US$0.40 (55 minutes). Trains leave every seven minutes Monday to Friday, or every 15 minutes Saturday and Sunday. It takes 35 minutes to reach San Isidro from Maipú, and 60 minutes to reach Tigre.
