Zee Gilmore was born in Dubai and brought up in England and Saudi. Her extensive travels have seen her fleeing from charging elephants in Namibia, escaping organ donors in Cambodia and being washed down a waterfall in South Africa. Zee has worked as a travel journalist and contributed to the Footprint Laos and Thailand books before moving to Dubai
